PHETCHABURI CITY & 2N GUESTHOUSE

A hidden Gem on The Golf of Thailand.
Tucked in between the Golf of Thailand on the East and the Tanaosi mountain range forming the boundary to Myanmar on the west lies Phetchburi, a small little known, Thai city with around 30.000 inhabitants. It is situated just 150  kilometers south of Bangkok and 80 kilometers north of the resort town Hua Hin. The city is easily accessible by rail and bus. Phetchaburi is an old royal city fist settled by the Mon people followed by the Khmer. At present fishing is a major economic activity in the city. For those wanting to trod outside the regular tourist tracks and are looking for a real Thai experience, this is a place to stop.

FIVE GOOD REASONS TO VISIT PHETCHABURI:
o   Its splendid historical sites, comprising several Royal Palaces such as Phra_Nakhon_Khiri_Historical_Park,   a manifold of old temples some of them bearing witness to the former presence of the    Khmer.
o   Its wide,  sandy beaches still awaiting to be discovered by foreign visitors
o   It’s National Parks of which Kaeng Krachan is the best known and a range of outdoor activities such as rafting.
o   Its food market on the banks of the Phetchaburi river, which offers a wide range of local delicacies.
o   2 N Guesthouse, with its spacious rooms and friendly service.

2 N GUESTHOUSE:  AN AUTHENTIC THAI EXPERIENCE
Our Guesthouse opened its doors in mid 2012 and is situated in a nicely landscaped Garden not far from the Phetchaburi train station. It has 6 spacious twin-bedded rooms and double bedded rooms with air condition, satellite TV, fridge and free Wi Fi. Every room has a private balcony and a nicely laid out bathroom.

ABOUT US: 2 N Guesthouse is run by two sisters Nisa and Nit. We are two former tourist guides able to provide you with detailed information on Thailand in general, things to do during your stay, special places to sample local dishes and all other things you may want to know. We also offer bicycles for rent for a nominal fee and provide a free transfer from the Phetchaburi train station to our guesthouse. On request we can also arrange a private transfer from Bangkok. Staying with us is not just a holiday, but a genuine Thai experience.

Having stayed for 3 days at the 2 NGuesthouse in Phetchaburi Province, I found myself at home.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The room rate is affordable even for the bagsack travellers. A warm welcome and the hospitaly of the 2 female owners are in my long-lasting memmory.
A traveller searching for good places to see, to eat and to accommodate.

My stay at the 2N Guesthouse was one of the highlights of my trip through Thailand... The room was so extremely homy and comfortable that I was able to do some yoga and meditation peacefully. Nisa and Nit will do everything to make you feel at ease, being as discreet or present as you will need them to be. They helped me make the most of my time in Phetchaburi, which is a lovely town with plenty of things to do and see without being overcrowded with tourists and I spent a very relaxing time there...

All I can say is thank goodness we found 2N Guesthouse in Phetchaburi.
All was so smooth and welcoming from the free pickup and booking call, the garden with lovely table, chairs and flower to relax in, the location is great just in the edge of the town. A 15-20 minutes walk or a few minutes on the bicycle provided. Room with aircon and balcony was very clean quiet and relaxing.Breakfast was also provided a nice touch. Our hosts helped us with information about the town, hiring a little van to take us around the sights for the day. train times for moving on etc.
Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Dear Nisa nad Nit,

After the loud and impersonable hussle & bussle of Bangkok. I was both impressed and uplifted by your personal service. Not only to you provide a clean and comfortable stay, but you also pay attention to your guests individual needs. I found this both comforting and inspring.
I wish you both very success as I believe you for outshine your competition. Your abodes are tranquil and easy to get to. I'll definitely be promoting your establishment whenever the opportunity arrives.

With best wishes,

This is more than a guesthouse! I feel like home. Nisa and Nit are so friendly. They speak English so well that you won't miss any important message about Phechaburi. This means you will be away from noises of the streets.
They have free pick up service and bicycle! Just a 5 to 10 minutes distance from city central and railway station by riding a bicycle. There are few local restaurants and stores very close to 2N Guesthouse. Every corner in the guesthouse is so clean. Lovely and brand new decoration. Wifi connection is good even in the room. Strong hot shower and air condition. A nice balcony you can have your food there or hang up the clothes you wash. The breakfast is included, I love their Milo and fruits. I think it’s quite a good value for 580B one night!

Dear Nit and Nisa,
What makes the 2N Guesthouse experience very unique is the two of you. Your friendship, help and advice has really made our stay very special - so special that we have stayed six nights instead of the original two.

A bicycle is the perfect way to explore Phetchaburi and you made it possible with your kind loan of the bikes.

We have felt part of Thai life while we have been here, entirely because of your efforts.

Songkran has been marvelous but without you we would only have been splashed with water. With you, we have not only been wet but also enjoyed Thai opera, puppets and free food!

We hope that you will continue to enjoy what you do as it is a very precious thing that we have received from you.

Thank you so much,

Marg and Mike - Australia

Mid january 2013:
After searching the internet for an accomodation in Phetchaburi we were lucky to find
this not so well known guesthouse. The motto of the two ladies running
the guesthouse is that guests should have the feeling being at home.
We received a warm welcome and were really impressed by the hospitality.
The guesthouse was brandnew and everything was in excellent condition so
we really enjoyed our stay there. Unfortunately we had to leave after a
couple of days. Next time we go to Phetchaburi we will definitely choose
this place to stay.
A big thank you for Nisa and Nit.

Dear Nit and Nisa,

the stay at your guesthouse was a real pleasure. We felt more than welcome from the start when you picked us up from the train station. And especially because of you both we enjoyed our stay at Phetchaburi, a lot.

The rooms were very tidy, uniquely and lovely decorated. Also the garden is an idyllic place for relaxing in the evening. The breakfasts with specialties of Thai-food (different kinds of sweets and fruits) were marvelous. It was fun listening to your explanations of the specialties and it encouraged us to taste more different types of Thai-food on our trip.

Not only the explanations of the specialties were very helpful, but also the descriptions of the sights in Phetchaburi. We got a map of Phetchaburi and bicycles for free, which was really great and friendly.

Summarizing, we think 2N-guesthouse is the best place for staying in Phetchaburi. And because of you two we would like to come back again.

Thank you Nit and Nisa!
